CDP North America is seeking a motivated intern to support the Science Based Targets initiative’s research and technical development. The individual will carry out a range of analyses that support the multi-stakeholder production of criteria and guidelines for robust corporate climate action targets to accelerate the transition to a net-zero economy.
About the SBTi:
The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is a collaboration between CDP, the United Nations Global Compact, the World Resources Institute, and the World Wide Fund for Nature, aiming to catalyze change toward a net-zero economy by driving the adoption of GHG emission reduction targets in the corporate sector that are consistent with the ambition of the Paris Agreement. Required skills and experience:
We are seeking a highly driven, adaptive individual with a proven ability to generate action-oriented insights from engagement with technical content. You are interested in the opportunity to become deeply familiar with key issues in climate change mitigation at the interface between science, sustainable business, and systems thinking. You can effectively frame and communicate complex ideas and perform well in a fast-paced environment with occasional uncertainty.
