At CDP Europe, we are looking for a HR Administrator to join our growing Finance, HR and Administration team. You will report to the HR Team Lead, contributing to regional and international HR operations as well as learning and team development.
About the role: You will be a key member of CDP Europe’s Finance and HR team, looking for ways to apply your experience to ensure improving and developing all HR related processes. This position is an exciting opportunity for a professional to take over handling of HR related operational and strategic tasks, in a smooth and efficient co-operation with the existing Finance, HR and Administration team members.
The role includes:
- Providing support within the recruitment process, from job posting
through applicant communication to sending offers to successful candidate;
- Being the main point of contact for and supporting team members in all
personnel-related, administrative, labour and social security matters;
- Coordinating all employment related paperwork and induction processes in
collaboration with the HR Team Lead Europe;
- Overall responsibility for the operative personnel management, especially for the implementation of the entire employee lifecycle: employee development & retention, on-boarding & engagements well as personal development planning process, performance review and appraisal;
- Reviewing Europe HR guidelines and policies and providing feedback;
- Supporting with training needs analysis and training program for the year;
- Supporting the HR team lead in further regional and global HR projects;
- Assisting with ad-hoc tasks as required.
The successful candidate will have:
- Successful completed education or university degree in Business
Administration, Human Resources, Psychology or comparable;
- 2+ years professional Experience in a similar HR administration ideally
in an international environment with solid knowledge in general HR and payroll processes;
- Excellent communication skills, ability to identify problems as well as
to drive appropriate solutions;
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel;
- Positive mindset and a hands-on and ‘can do’ attitude;
- Detail-oriented attitude, combined with a structured and analytical working style;
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with teams in a multi-national setting;
- Very good command of spoken and written German and English;
- Strong understanding of how to handle confidential information, including GDPR legislation;
- Excellent team player and good organizational skills.

The successful candidate will work five days per week and must be able to work legally in Germany. This full-time role is based at our office in Berlin, Germany, and will work closely with the Finance, HR & Administration team and report to HR Team lead, Europe.
