CDP Latin America are looking for two analyst's to join our Corporations and Supply Chains Latin America team to provide a critical contribution to CDP’s mission on promoting a low carbon economy. This
is an excellent opportunity to make an impact globally on how companies and suppliers respond to
the key environmental challenges of climate change, water security and deforestation.
Your work will form part of CDP LA’s team responsible for Grants and Projects in Latin America, with
focus on project management for national funding institutions.

We offer a variety of solutions for environmental information to be the mainstay of political and business
decision making.
CDP Latin America is responsible for engaging with more than 1 thousand companies in the region on
transparency and action against climate change, as well as having around 20% of CDP all membership based packages and 10% of CDP’s Signatory Investors. Its magnitude applies to Cities States and
Regions program as well, as almost 20% of the total CDP-responding municipalities are in Latin America.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the CSC Projects and Grants team throughout the development and implementation
of all CSC related projects in Latin America, in coordination with other CDP regional and
global teams when necessary, assuring they are delivered within the appropriate timelines,
budget, and quality standards;
- Support the alignment between our regional portfolio management with the CDP Global PMO
management tools;
- Support the coordination of CSC Projects and Grants teams’ members, including projects’ regional coordinators, coordinating with other regional CDP Latin America’s team, CDP global
staff, sub-grantees, contractors, and external stakeholders, whenever necessary;
- Support the coordination, in partnership with other CDP Latin America teams, of regional strategic studies based on CDP data, analysis and insights, assuring they are delivered within the
appropriate timelines, budget, and quality standards;
- Support the prospecting of new projects and grant opportunities;
- Support progress and implementation’s monitoring and tracking of CSC projects, grants, and
studies, including keeping records and overseeing deliverables, timelines, budget, evidence
and reporting;
- Identify and share with regional and global CSC learnings and areas for process optimization
and improvements, with the aim to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Additional responsibilities:
- Promoting the connection between CSC and other CDP Latin America’s teams, to make sure
all projects’ deliverables are known for all team members;
- Organizing internal project workshops/meetings with the aim to keep progress of projects’ activities and seeking continuous improvement of current process;
- Be a champion on projects and grants processes, assuring all team members are aware and
following Grants and Project Team’s recommendations.
Required skills & experience:
- A university degree in Administration, International Relations, Forest/Environmental Engineering, Biology, or a related subject;
- At least two years of experience on project management under the sustainability thematic;
- Experience in the Project Management and/or Processes areas;
- Previous experience working with Project Management tools (ex. Microsoft Project, Monday.com);
- Previous experience with portfolio management, mainly for sustainability projects;
- Fluency in Portuguese and English; and intermediate Spanish;
- Good report writing, data analysis and communication skills in Portuguese and English;
- Good communication skills in Spanish or the willingness to develop the ability
- Excellent presentation and communication skills;
- Analytical skills, including an expertise in Microsoft Excel;
- The ability to meet deadlines under pressure;
- The ability to explore environmental issues and climate change aspects with different types
and levels of stakeholders.
Desired skills & experience:
- Post-Grad/MBA or any other specialization;
- Previous experience with Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) tools;
- Previous experience in the Forest and Land Use context;
- Good report writing, data analysis and communication in Spanish;
- Good knowledge of the Latin American context on sustainability;
- Experience of working with global and international teams.
This is a full-time role based at CDP Latin America’s partner in São Paulo/Brazil and will be reporting
to CDP Latin America’s Grants and Projects Manager, also based in São Paulo/Brazil.
Salary & Benefits: Competitive NGO salary depending on experience, additional benefits
