Executive Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Executive Assistant to support our Managing director and our team. In this exciting role you will enjoy the challenge of a fast paced, international environment, problem solving and continuous learning. You will have high standards in your work, with excellent attention to detail, hands-on attitude, going above and beyond to help the team operate more efficiently. You will play an active role in the future of CDP Europe and its employees.
The role includes:
- Assist the Managing Director in his day to day work, handle
all administrative support functions including processing of event and speaking
slot requests, act as a sparring partner in preparation of strategic topics and
their operational implementation;
- Manage projects with tight deadlines, work efficiently
and independently while juggling many tasks simultaneously with ease, play the
leading role in corporate communications;
- Take over an interface function for coordination, communication,
and cooperation between members of the management and other relevant interest
groups at all levels within the local organization as well as across the group;
- Support for the European Management Team members in administrative activities and relevant projects;
- Coordinate and manage internal cross-team projects such as Strategy Meetings, Offsite, Team Events, etc;
- Main point contact for the team in the day to day administrative team activities, for the office space provider (landlord) and other service suppliers;
- Support the administrative part of the On- and Offboarding process;
- General office management, maintaining office data, systems and folders, office materials monitoring and purchase;
- Overall responsibility for CDP Europe's Staff Handbook, Staff lists and Organization Charts;
- Assisting with occasional ad-hoc tasks as required.
The successful candidate will have:
- BA/BSc degree, completed
professional training or qualified by work experience of 3+ years;
- A clear understanding of CDP’s values, objectives and
processes and a desire to drive forward CDP’s mission;
- A ‘hands-on’ attitude, teamwork spirit, ability to
take initiative, multi-task, prioritise and work under pressure;
- Strong analytical mindset with high affinity to numbers;
- Customer-focused, solution-oriented, discreet and resilient with excellent organizational and multitasking skills;
- Attention to detail with good research, writing and drafting skills;
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills and ability to work with teams in a multi-national setting;
- Highly professional individual, pro-active, pragmatic, detail orientated and passionate about your work;
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook);
- Fluent English and German communication skills (verbal and written), other European languages a plus.

The successful candidate will work five days per week and must be able to work legally in Germany. This full-time role is based at our office in Berlin, Germany, and will report to the Managing Director, CDP Europe.
