Job Purpose and Background
CDP is seeking a highly organised and motivated manager at a very exiting point in time who thrives in a fast paced, varied and autonomous environment. You will lead and develop a new, enlarged centralised team with a remit across CDP’s core disclosure business service – delivering the management and support of nearly 7,000 businesses, cities, states and regions who report annually to CDP on their environmental impacts, strategies and actions. It is a newly formed team and you will facilitate and support the individuals through the process of change within the team as well as help the team as a whole to transition into the new operating model and adopt new ways of working, which CDP has just recently introduced. Your ability to methodically analyze, design and implement processes for the highest level of efficiency will be critical for delivering and continuously improving CDP’s annual disclosure cycle. This is an excellent opportunity to combine leadership skills with thorough business process and project management skills and build a highly efficient and service orientated operations team.
CDP is an international non-profit that drives companies and governments to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions, safeguard water resources and protect forests. Voted number one climate research provider by investors and working with institutional investors with assets of US$100 trillion, we leverage investor and buyer power to motivate companies to disclose and manage their environmental impacts. Over 6,300 companies with some 55% of global market capitalization disclosed environmental data through CDP in 2017. This is in addition to the over 500 cities and 100 states and regions who disclosed, making CDP’s platform one of the richest sources of information globally on how companies and governments are driving environmental change.
