Job Purpose and Background:

CDP is seeking an experienced manager to join its global investor initiatives team in London. The successful candidate will have previously worked within a financial markets related sales or marketing role, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships with institutional investment managers, integrated financial institutions and the broader capital markets community. The individual should also have a passion for ESG issues and be able to communicate how these can be integrated into the mainstream investment process.
About the investor initiatives team
Investors are uniquely equipped to help mitigate environmental risks and push forward the low-carbon transition. For nearly two decades, we have requested environmental disclosure from companies through a coordinated effort by bringing asset owners, asset managers, banks and insurers. Investors use CDP’s environmental data on climate change, deforestation and water security to inform decision making, engage with companies, reduce risks and identify opportunities.

This is a full-time role based at CDP’s London office reporting to Global Head of Investor Initiatives. The successful candidate must be able to work legally in the UK.
Salary and benefits: £55,000 to £60,000 per annum, 30 days’ holiday excluding bank holidays, generous non-contributory pension provision, annual discretionary bonus (depending on company performance, life assurance, Employee Assistance Programme, Training and development, flexible working opportunities, and others.
