CDP's spring workshops mark the beginning of the annual CDP Climate, Water and Forest reporting period with the aim to make the disclosure process as easy as possible for companies and to deepen the knowledge on natural capital disclosure. The events will provide hands-on assistance in responding to the CDP 2018 questionnaires. Participants will be encouraged to share ideas, ask questions and take part in break-out sessions with experts in various aspects of disclosure.
Our workshops bring together key stakeholders including investors, policymakers, corporate strategists, and sustainability professionals, to discuss how companies and investors can continue driving towards a low-carbon economy.
The 2018 CDP US Spring Workshop will serve as a thematic springboard to the 2018 Global Climate Action Summit, featuring a variety of thought leaders addressing how non-state actors are pushing towards the goals set in Paris, and technical sessions focused on bringing companies up to speed with new CDP disclosure requirements. Specific content areas include renewable energy, science-based targets, water and forest restoration, the use of CDP data and more.
