As the ISSB advances its nature-related reporting work and TNFD continues to drive market adoption of nature-related disclosure practices, stakeholders are increasingly seeking clarity on how these initiatives interact and what they mean for the future of corporate reporting under the Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF).

Hosted by CDP as part of COP17, **this session will bring together key standard, framework and government representatives** to explore recent developments in the ISSB Nature Practice Statement exposure draft, reflect on progress in implementing the TNFD recommendations, and discuss their implications for GBF Target 15 implementation.

The discussion will examine areas of convergence and distinction between the two approaches, including their respective roles in supporting decision-useful, comparable and globally relevant nature-related disclosures. Participants will explore how emerging reporting expectations can contribute to a more coherent global disclosure baseline, support national and international policy objectives, and strengthen the quality and consistency of corporate reporting.

The session will also address practical implementation challenges, market readiness, capacity needs, and opportunities to accelerate the uptake of nature-related disclosure and reporting across jurisdictions and sectors.
