In line with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Credit Rating Agencies) Regulations 1999, **the use of CDP scores is restricted for Indian organizations with securities listed in India**. These organizations **must not share their CDP scores externally within India**, and cannot use them for decision-making, investment analysis, compliance, or research purposes related to ESG investment, performance, and practices. These restrictions do **not** apply to organizations that are unlisted and have no securities listed (or planned to be listed) in India during the next financial year, **nor** to the use of scores outside India. All organizations may continue to reference and publish their CDP disclosure content (the response itself) in sustainability reports and other communications.
