Benefits of reporting

Disclosure can help cities to understand the risks and opportunities of climate change for its citizens and the business community. For many of these stakeholders, how cities prepare for and mitigate the effects of climate change is of material financial importance.

How to get started

  • Sign up! Any city government can participate. Email to register for the 2014 disclosure cycle.
  • In December 2013 the 2014 information request will be made available online. Read through the information request and use this time to start gathering the data from within your city.
  • In January 2014 you will receive an email with an activation link and instructions to access the online response system, CDP’s secure online platform which hosts the information request. January is the time to start filling in your response online.
  • Complete the information request prior to the end of March 2014 deadline. Detailed guidance is provided to assist with the individual sections and questions in the information request.
  • Look forward to your city being featured in the report launched in June of 2014.
